  1. My mom went to Cuba and she got a travel dvd of where they went and it came on a burned Maxwell dvd-r(oddly i use the same dvds to burn my dvds). The menu has rougly 6 septerate videos to choose from.

    I cant Figure out how to copy it. ive tired dvd shrink, dvd decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter, copy dvd on nero. it says no disc, and when i go to the drive it says no dvd.

    the drive does work so i dont know but the dvd does work in a dvd player


    If any one know please help.

    try using isobuster and see if it will let you browse the contents of the disc.

    You don't say if it actually plays back and is watchable on your drives. Maybe you were conned with a blank dvd !

  5. it does not work on any drive it says its blank but it does work in both of my dvd players

    Okay,
    Just spitballing here, try looking at it in your burner through nero burning rom, if you have nero, look under the "Recorder" tab and check disc info.

    I remember having a disc a long time ago that acted this way and through there i could see the disc files and finalised the disc.

    Do you have any idea what the disc was recorded on ? a burner, a standalone ?

    i've got a sneaking suspsicion that this was recorded in a standalone, but not finalized.. or something along those lines..

  8. In Nero Burning Rom Under the "Recorder" tab it says No Disc Inserted or dirve not ready. I have Know Idea What it Was Burned On.

    The Dvd Player I have is a Sony, its about 2 years old and its a vhs/dvd player combo.

    Have you tried ISOBuster to rip the contents of the disc? Does it detect the disc?
