Can anyone tell me the media code for TDK DVD-Rs (DVDMR47DCB25) at http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=114998&WT.mc_n=57&WT.mc_t=U&cm_ven...&cm_keycode=57, or do you know anything about quality of this media?

  2. all TDK media has one of these media codes: TDK, TTG0x, TTH0x

I've personally never had a problem with any TDK's, burn fine, play fine from a Pioneer 110 burner

  4. I agree with Hech54 - Look over there:

<---------------- Lists - DVD Media - Search on TDK and 8x

You will get no less than 11 matches. MCC - CMC - Ritek - Ricoh and the afore-mentioned codes as well.

Most of my TDK's have been pretty good....but I've got one or two crappy spindles in my time....complete garbage CMC crap or worse.

  6. My current batch of TDK 8x +R inkjet printable media has performed just fine. No burn failures and no playback problems. And yes - it is CMC media. I'm burning this media on my Benq 1620 - setting booktype to DVD-ROM.
