You could use the edit button to update your original post.

Use Nero Speed Disc to test the disk fopr read errors.

Do what I do if you can .

If you have a friend , take your burner and 2 disc's , and burn one with their burner , and then one with your burner installed into their pc .

If all work on their player's and pc , return to your pc the burner , and try the disc's on your unit's (play the burnt one's) ... if all readable now , the problem is in the burning program .

Unistall , download updates , reboot pc .
Reinstall , apply updates , restart pc , try burning once more .

If success , you found the problem to be software related .

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

If media failed at friend's , using both unit's , it's a bad batch , return for full refund .

If however the disc burnt by your unit is unreadable on friend's player's , yet the one burnt by their unit work's , it's your drive that need's replacing .

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    It's why I have 2 pc's , one athlon , the other a p4 , both with dvd burner's .
