l have just downloaded a zipped file on my laptop to install a display driver, l now need to download winzip.Can someone explain what this is, and what it does.Also can you get this software free to download, and is it easy to use.Could do with quick replys to download this driver. thanks![]()

winzip is a unzipping program.... however what you download is a demo version unless you buy...... now there many freeware unzipping programs go to tucows.com or zdnet.com you 'll find them there.....
OR using your windows explorer (ifwinxp) do a right click on the zipped file and click "extract to...." -

Thanks ray316 - a good attitude. BTW Xylob's suggestion is a good one to consider as you will eventually run across other types of compression formats other than ZIP. Rar is such a format.

I Recommend 7zip. Does the job & is open source to boot. Fine Program.
