    Hi,

Ive got a movie divx 700mb, and i want to burn this to a disc with subtitles, but when i do this with tmpec and virtualdubmod, the size of the file is getting to big, i want to watch the movies on a stand alone dvd-divx player. What is the easiest way to this. I read in an ohter forum to burn the divx file en the sub file to a disc, but did not work ???. What is the best setting in tmpgenc of virtualdubmod to create a file that is not longer than 700mb inculded subtitle.

    Please help

I'm not clear on what you are using TMPGEnc for. Virtualdub Mod should be doing any needed encoding. Are you following this guide?

    https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=272736

What are your encoding settings? If you reencoded it to Divx using VDMod, you can adjust the size of the final file. If you didn't select a codec to encode with, VDM will use uncompressed Avi and will turn out very big.

If you click on the Divx codec in VDM, then 'configuere', you should see the settings, and probably a size calculator.
