    hello

can you tell me please which is the program that can back up a dvd (eg dvd movie) with best quality?

I saw some tests (http://dvd.box.sk/articles8.php) that say its InterVideo DVDCopy, some others thats its DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter

is there a single answer to this?

    thank you!

That article has been discussed and discounted many times since it was first published.

The highest quality; anyDVD, DVD Decrypter - ISO->Read, ISO->Write to DL discs. 1:1 copy. No transcoding or re-encoding.

After that, for my money, DVD Rebuilder with either ProCoder or CCE as the encoder.

How good it will depends on how much you need to squeeze onto the disk. If you keep extras, everyhting will be lower quality. If you do just the movie, often times you don't need to compress very much if at all.

Haven't used it. I know some swear by it, but then some swear by WinAVI, so there is no accounting for taste.

It is a transcoder, like Shrink, so it can't compete with something like Rebuilder (with CCE or ProCoder) for quality, especially as the reduction % goes up.
