  2. Get the latest version of AnyDVD (5.8.2.1.) Then try it again.

    Or better yet...
Try ripping it to your HDD with the latest & free version of DVDFab Decrypter and then try opening it in DVD Shrink

I've the same problem too. I've the Sincity(full version) DVD like Invader Bugs. I've AnyDVD v5.8.2.1, and I also have ASPI drivers installed. But, after about first 10minutes of the movie being copied(at about 18%) using any kind of software - DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0, DVD Fab Platinum v2.9.6.9(in both Gold & Express mode), Smart Ripper v2.41, Clone DVD v3.9.1.0, Isobuster v1.8(build 1.8.0.4) and DVD Shrink v3.2.0.15, an error message appears or the process simply hangs up and the DVD backup stops immediately.

The error messages shown in DVD Shrink(during it's video preview mode), Isobuster and DVD Decrypter are something related to 'cyclic redundancy of data'.

Surprisingly, the DVD plays perfect on external DVD Players. I played it at my friend's house. Same was the case with 'The Aviator' and 'Amen' a few weeks back.

Anybody, please tell me what's the point in the existence of errors (according to softwares) on DVDs which play extremely well on a DVD Players.

Please suggest a way out to backup such kind of DVDs.
