I am sure this is disscussed somewhere on this forum. But I could not find it.

How do I convert AVI files to ISO? What programs might I use to do this?

ISO is just a container. You don't convert anything to ISO. Just use Folder2ISO.

ISO in general is an CD image file. So your original question doesn't make sense.

No it's not. An ISO is usually an image of either a CD or a DVD - an image of anything using the ISO9660 file system. Just like a CD or DVD can contain anything, so can the ISO image of it do.

Uh... Mats, my answer was directed to the original post, not you. Sorry if my lack of "quote" has confused you.

I wasn't taking it personal - just trying to make clear what an ISO really is. OK, when ISO is mentioned here, it's usually either a VCD or SVCD or DVD ISO, but that's just a very small part of all ISOs in general. It might as well be a game, or a Linux distro or whatever.
