In general, if they work then the output quality will be the same...after all it is digital so if they work then they're identical. If they are so bad that the player has a difficult time reading them then that can lead to all kinds of playback problems like glitches, stuttering and freezing.

Hate to repeat myself again but....I had bad experience with Memorex CD-R's going bad after one year. Never will I buy it again.

personally, ive had no issues with either brand.........i use both types all the time and no issues yet (cept when my first generation burner started dying out on me....but that was the drive, not the media's fault)
