Hi all, I'm using DVDit LE that came with my Maxtor 2500 along with Premier 6.0. I export from my timeline using IBP mepg-2 settings to author my DVD via DVDit. I'm putting only 45 min on the DVD so I'm using a CBR of 8. When I go to build a volume in DVDit, I get an error "Data exceeded multiplexable bit rate". I have read that I should set the CBR to 6 to solve this problem. But I did some fooling around. This is what I found. When I only put the .avi files in the DVDit project, I dont get this error and it builds the volume just fine. When I add the wav files to the avi, I do get the multiplexing error. I checked my wav output and it's the proper 48kh, 16-bit, stereo settings. Another thing I tried, I started a new DVDit project and only put about 2 min of avi/wav data into it (with the same settings as the 45 min project that was getting the error) and I had no multiplex error....Weird.... So, I guess my question is. #1. Do I try a CBR setting of 6? #2.Use TMPGEnc to convert and use Video/Audio export (this way the audio is also compressed) or #3. Can I use a program like "Goldwave" to edit the wav files and change the volume of them or something?. Is it a wav problem or is it just that the combination of the audio/video set at CBR of 8 that is too much? Thanks....Steve
