  1. hey,

    so my friend got this really good video of me doing 200km/hr on the highway and u can see my gauges perfect on the camcorders lil lcd screen, but when i import it w/ adobe premiere, the video is all dark and u cant really see n e thing which is a major piss off, i was wondering if n e one knew how to fix this

    1. The LCD screens on consumer DV cameras are backlit, and always brighter than the xfered image

    2. Check the levels of your monitor, as I suspect they are too low if the difference is that great

    3. Look at the filter in Premiere, specifically brightness and contrast. If you don't know how to use filters, read the manual or help files, as they will explain it to you.

    Are you looking at the computer monitor or the TV playing the DVD? Computers will display dark. Use WinDVD or PowerDVD and adjust brightness there if it needs it.
