I made a backup last week of my "Bad News Bears" 2005 DVD to a Verbatim DVD+R DL. I used the DVDDecrypter iso read/write combination to rip and burn the DVD Back to a disc and everything seems to be fine, but I'm running into a problem at the layer switch.
I've tried three separate DVD players and my PC and none of them will advance on after the layer switch unless you stop the player all together. If I advance to a part past the layer switch (using scene selection) I can rewind back through to the end of the first layer flawlessly but if you let it play straight through it just hangs up and makes some awful noises.
If the problem is my player (which I suspect, since one is an older sony and another is a Cyberhome CH-300) what is a good player that CAN play +R DL backups without freezing?
