When I make disks with my set top box (liteon lvw-5007), I don't seem to be able to edit the disc on my computer. Especially if I use SLP mode.
1) Tmpeg Xpress will read HQ recorded Vob files but not slp. It gives me an error saying that it must be 720 x 480 to import when trying to import titles recorded in slp.
2) Nero Vision has a "VR editor" which is supposed to let you edit titles, and chapters, and then re-write out. It views them fine, but after editing, I get an error writing out to disk the changes.
IS there anything that will read a mixed disk of SLP and HQ recordings for example ? So I can make a new disk out of my edits? (Ive tried vob2mpg even)
Also I have noticed on the DVD_VR disk that is made, even though it is a 4.7gb dvd+r disk, the files show up as 8 , 1gb files (in video_ts folder) . How can this be?? It's only a 4.7gb disk! Is this some trick to make other set top box players to be able to play it?
Anyway, I just want to make decent menu's out of the disk and make it more playable in other units..
thanks
