    I have burnt several dvds using nero V6.x. After a break, I did that again last week, however all the dvds I burnt can only play the first chapter. When dvd hits the point of the second chapter, it hangs. It doesnt seem to be a problem of the dvd disc/player as I burnt as a nero image file to HDD and opened it with nero showtime - same problem. Clicking on any other chapter than the first gives the same problem. Player hangs. Nothing plays on screen.

    What do you mean authoring ?
    I used Nero (smart something ?) which in turn called Nero vison express I think. I burn to image drive, then burn to disc.

    I have several discs several times a while back using the same method (including directly to dvd ). But now it isnt working.
