there's an audio soundtrack (list of songs of that movie dvd) in a dvd that i wanna rip off and convert it mp3's. the soundtrack is under the dvd's menu session; it's been identified when i used dvd shrink, but when i use Smart Ripper, it doesnt seem to identify the soundtrack; it shows chapters that doesnt include that soundtrack. so what should i do to rip the soundtrack to my pc and convert it to mp3?

DVD Decrypter can demux just an audio track for you. Open the disc in IFO mode and click on the Stream Processing tab. Highlight the stream you want to demux, then click the Demux radio button at the bottom. Once processed, use something like hypercube transcoder to convert from AC3

Or if you don't want to get as complex you can rip the whole vobs to the harddrive and convert to mp3 with besweet. You could use dvdshrink and select just the audio track you want and convert those vobs to mp3 with little hassle.

  4. DVD Audio Extractor is what you want. Just put in the DVD, pick the audio you want and extract. Even lets you listen first. Great little program. Look in tools.

DVD Decrypter doesnt seem to recognize the menu folder in the dvd. cuz the soundtrack is in the VTS 4 folder of the menu folder. When i open w/ DVD DEcrypter, it shows only :
    Code:
    VTS_01
      PGC 1
      PGC 2
    VTS _02
      PGC 1
    VTS _03
      PGC 1
    VTS _04
      PGC 1
i played them, but don't see the audio sountrack w/ a menu.
imTOO DVD Audio Ripper couldnt recognize the menu folder either. DVD Audio Extractor seems to work.
