I wasn't sure where to post this, but since it involves capturing,
I decided it prob goes here. Anyways..
.
.
In some of my Analog Capturing projects, I use my ATI Rage Fury Pro
capture card (ATIRFP) and the version of sw I use is its MMC v7.1
Closed Captioning ...
As you may know, it can post inside a window. This is what I would
to capture -- the text inside the CC window as it displays during
the program. I thought you could just point the mouse and highlight/select
but that is not possible.
Is there any way to capture this CC text during capturing or other ??
Thanks in advance

I don't think you can set it to make MMC grab CC during capture, but what I've done in the past is enable the TV Magazine feature in MMC, where basically it grabs all CC for the duration that you set it for and stores it in either plain text, html or rtf format).
What I ended up doing was setting up one text file and had the "stop transcribing after" setting to an insanely long time, then purge that text file once in a while after I've grabbed the text I needed. -
My ATI cards all allow capturing of captions. You just have to enable it, you can capture in HTML, DOC, etc, lots of formats. Im not sure about the specific program you are using but Im sure its explained in the manual or push F1.
