i have been doing a few tests and the results are very impressive the black friday dvd recorder records an excellent picture in the 3 hour mode and the 4 hour mode exceeds that of my ilo HD04 and thats saying something considering the fact that the dvdrhd04 cost 4X that of the value priced $68 recorder i bought friday...
i also see that 3 hour mode is 352x480 its the same as the ilo i assume that of course..yet the ilo looks a slight greyish color.almost washed out looking..
yet on the ch-dvr 1200 it looks just as good as the source and cartoons look damn good too..
anyone else tried the 3 hour mode on theirs?? another thing i should mention is that if you want the best results you might wanna use an S-video cable..
if your using just the basic coaxial cable from the wall from your cable company your better off sticking with a vcr...
