  1. So I have 3 movies (4 in another case, 6 in another) that I want to put on DVD... They all are MKV and OGM containers, all with subs (some with multible tracks of subs) and all with multible audio tracks. Ive used AVI2DVD before to do a single movie file onto a DVD and it works Great, but is there anyway to do the same exact thing with multible movies/episodes? I dont even care if it has a Menu as long as I could just skip to the next one or something.

If I cant do it easily that way like AVI2DVD does.. is there a simple program I can use to extract each file alone then another app (or same app would be awesome) to make them into DVDs?

I have a good idea of what Im doing and whats going on, though I am very new to DVD making. Most of what Ive learned was from searching the forums and site for the answer to these questions. Ive been using VirtualDubMod to extract the Subs files for use in AVI2DVD.. Ive tried DIKO before (Single Track Multible Episode AVIs) with no success, always crashes and whatnot. Im not really asking for a step by step of what to do, I mostly just need the right programs and I can figure out what to do if I mess around a bit.

    Thanks for the help.

It would help more if you gave the error that you were getting in it..However - AVI2DVD is trash . For a better alternative, try VSO DivxtoDVD...Otherwise a far better method, and much more involved..The manual method.

The process would go something like so:

1)Figure out total run time wanted for each disc via a prog like VCalc (x minutes video w/ x audio streams @ x bitrate w/ x menu overhead and it's spits out a fairly accurate avg bitrate target

2)Frameserving the video w/ VDUB/MOD/MPEG2/AVIsynth/whatever into your encoder of choice (CCE/HCenc/Procoder/etc)

    3) Rip out your subs in whatver manner you do it

    4) Audio conversion, ie: rip the streams via VDub convert into DVD compliant via BeSweet/BeLight or other in AC3/MP2/PCM

5)For authoring, I would suggest for ease of use TMPGenc (Tsunami DVD Author Pro), but don't know if the v2 Pro accepts subs or not, I haven'ttried it..Nor am I sure on multi audio streams.

So you could try DVDLab - a very steep learning curve, but the Mediachance site has some nice tutorials on different stuff..Not sure about the standard DVDLab/DVDL Studio, but the Pro version accepts something like 8 audio streams and 8 subs (forget what sub format(s) it wants - .SUB/.IDX maybe? It's a really powerful program, you can do anything from really simple to full blown "prosumer" (?) type stuff with complex menu structures, easter eggs, whatever..

    [edit] http://mediachance.com/dvdlab/index.html
    DVD Lab specs
standard 1 audio, no subs $99
    dvdlab studio 2 audio, 1 sub $129
    dvdlab pro 8 audio, 8 subs $199
