Why do I keep losing menu buttons in DVDWS2 ?

After creating menu (still, two pages) with images, chapters, buttons and background audio, I go to the final tab in DVDWS2 "Finish".. and I keep getting a message saying "..Lost menu..buttons.." (forgot exact error msg, sorry).. I've deleted menus several times and started over with the same result... ???

I do use the menu wizard, which has 3 standard buttons on each page (2 pages).. I end up deleting one button on each page (the home button, b/c it's a simple menu with 2 pages--so all I have is a play and next button on menu1 and play and prev button on menu2). I then change the remaining buttons to a different style.. Is this what's causing me to lose usable buttons?

What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Should also mention the 40sec loop I set is not working either.. only plays thru once and gets 'stuck'.. (like it's trying to loop but can't for some reason).

Start the entire project over. Dump your current file. Something happened. I know it sucks, but I've had to do it 1-2 times in the past. Your project is seemingly corrupted, most likely.

I'd have to know the exact error to know what went wrong.
