  1. Hey guys,

I am trying to perform the following tasks:

    (1) Copy two different VCDs to the hard drive.
    (2) Once they are copied to the hard drive, split them into desired segments.
    (3) After splitting the segments, join the segments from two different VCDs and burn it as a new VCD.

What softwares do I need to perform these tasks.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

isobuster will let you copy the vcd to the harddrive.

A program like tmpgenc is good at editing mpeg video.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. VCDEasy to copy the VCD (dat->mpg). DGIndex to demultiplex video, audio. Cuttermaran to cutout segments and join (replace) new ones. VCDEasy to author and burn the newly created mpg to VCD.
