I thought Apache2 was a HTTP server app? You might have to go into a little more detail on what you are trying to do. Depending on the DVD, you might have to use DVDFab Decrypter or ANYDVD to rip a DVD to your hard drive. Or are you doing this over a lan?

  3. Here's what I'm trying to do I have a concert dvd that is split into two sets. I don't really need the first set so I'm trying to extract the second set which is on the second layer of the disc and burn that to a single layer dvd while keeping the chapter break all the same. is there a tutorial on how to do this or am I SOL?

How do you know it is on the second layer ?

Rip the entire disk using DVD Decrypter. Load it into DVD Shrink and select Re-Author mode. Drag the entire title over to the left-hand pane, then right-click on it and select Set Start and End Points and shift the start point to where the part you want begins. Shrink will keep the chapter points in place for you. You wil lose menus if you use this method however.

You could also look at tools such vobblanker, titleset blanker or DVD Remake Pro, all of which can be used to split disks, sometime with the menus intact.

No probs. It's getting old, and it hasn't been updated in a while, but it is still one of the handiest tools around.
