    Anyone know how this compares to later JVC VCR's like the 9911U? I read the manual, and it looks like you can have Video Calibration and the "TBC" on at the same time, unlike the 9911.

    Where do you see anything about this model having a TBC? Are you sure you aren't confusing the "video stabilzer" setting with a TBC? They aren't the same thing.
