picture package software?

i've lost the picture package software that came with my sony dcr-hc30e camcorder, which means i can't transfer the photographs i took with the cam. i've looked everywhere on the net for pic package swr without success - i've only found updates from various sites inc. ppackage.com.

does anyone know where i get download this or other similar program which will allow me to transfer still images from camcorder to pc?

get a usb flash card reader for your computer for a couple bucks and use that to transfer the pictures from the memory stick in the cam.

Go through everthing like you normally would to hook the cam up. Go to MY Computer, your cam should be listed, it should be listed as a removable drive......

i can see the images wen i explore the camcorder drive thru my computer, but cannot pull them off it......i only see the different images wen i click next on the actual camcorder, but wen i try to pull them off i can't....there are no options to copy/paste etc.....am i missing something? or will my best bet be to get a usb card reader?
