When you say you used Decrypter, do you mean DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter?
When I've had a problem in the past, when DVD Shrink has encountered an error, if I wasn't going to succeed, then DVD Decrypter would normally error out too. This time, I got a a full VIDEO_TS folder, with no skipped files. Then I still got an error ripping that file with DVD Shrink. This has never happened before. Usually if I get a complete file with DVD Decrypter, then DVD Shrink will be okay with it.
So far, though, there has only been this, Family Guy S2D2,
Hitch, which wouldn't rip with DVD Decrypyter (haven't tried it since with DVDFab Decrypter),
Spanglish (same as Hitch)
and Dances With Wolves D1 (D2 is fine) - strange one this:
Even using DVDFab Decrypter, once compressed to single sided DVD size with DVD Shrink, the video will only play with subtitles on - you CANNOT turn them off, however hard you try. If you turn them off, they are cued back in with the next phrase of spoken dialogue. HOWEVER, the full file is okay, so the only way to do it is to burn to a dual layer DVD. Weird or what? Yet D2 works fine, using only DVD Shrink.
