  1. hey,
I bought an iOMEGA buz capture card (really cheap ) .. it looks nice, but thats about as far as I have gotten with it. I am on WinXP, and it only works on Win 95/98 (there are "out of the box" drivers for ME/2000).

So I need to 'degrade'. I am thinking Win2000 sounds like a nice solution to my problems, any pro/cons I should know that would change my mind? How do I format (if I have to)? And how do I setup up a partition? ..

My computer is very low grade, (P3 - 450, 256mb SDram, 10g HDD), but this "Buz" thing was designed a few years ago and was made for my type of machine, I hear good things about it. Thinking of getting new HDD though. Like a 20gig or something simple.

This is pretty off topic, but you guys are so smart
    Thanks.

  2. I read some where that the card guarantees a lossless capture at 720x456 or something. Cant remember where, the card sells for 200-US$ new I think. I picked it up for 150-AU$ so around 80-US$ .. has composite/s-video in & outs and stuff. Has a "break out box" to keep things neat and tidy, oh some one help me quick hehe, I wanna try it.
