Half way through what ? Analysis ? Encoding ? Burning ?
Which version of DVD Fab Decrypter ?
What burning engine are you using (if this is where it is crashing ?)Read my blog here.

Would this movie happen to be Madagascar? I had issues. The solution may well be to run it through VobBlanker - you can just open it, tell it where the input files are and where to put the output files. Set it off, and DVD Shrink should have no problem after that.
If it is Madagascar, you may want to use VobBlanker to cut out all the adverts/trailers and a section which is about 540MB long, and is 40 minutes of black screen. Here's a guide:

I have not a clue what you are talking about! My crystal ball is not working today. Tell us what it is you are actually doing. Title of the movie woould also help. Stage of the process before the error pops up,,,,, and so an.
Shrink is a transcoder not a burner. No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -

movies are life of david gale and madagascar...Thanx for repyn -
grimee1,
Do the following:
- Rip the DVD with DVDFab Decrypter
- Pass the files through VobBlanker
- Feed into DVD Shrink
- Burn the resulting files
No problem.
Madagascar-specific tips:
- Use VobBlanker to remove all the trailers and adverts, as well as a 540MB, 40-minute long section that has nothing but blackness on it
- When you feed it in to DVD Shrink, you can get the best results by leaving everything set to "Automatic" for the compression (when normally you should put everything to "Custom ratio" and compress it as much as possible to make more space for the main film)
- Set AEC (Adaptive Error Compensation) to "Maximum smoothness"
- Ensure you do the "Deep analysis"
See my previous post in this thread for a guide to get rid of the unwanted sections of DVD using VobBlanker.
Following this advice, you'll get the best possible copy of Madagascar.
Hope this helps,
Cobra
