    I have a special need for a training video I'm doing. I'm looking for a program that will allow me to take a photo and turn it into a painting, drawing, etc.. I've found some programs that will do it but the limitations or quality leave a lot to be desired. Anyone with experience in doing things like this, please advise me where I might find one. I've searched so much that I've gotten confused as to what is what anymore .

    PhotoShop, PhotoShop Elements, there are guides (Google for them) on how to do this, I've used Photoshop to change a scanned photo into a black and white drawing and then added back color using PhotoShop. It also has artistic filters that allow you to render your photo into a watercolor, pastel, etc. painting.
