some times i cant just keep my mouth shut.. but with what ive seen the last few months with regulars and even mods leaving i have to say this.... if your pissed at something or some one to the point where you cant stand to be around a forum.. just walk away. dont tell people you are leaving.. seriously just move on.. i know your arguement is that you want people to know y you are not here.. but do you think these people really care if you say your leaving or not.. regardless if you are liked or not is illrelevent.. even the ones that are well liked.. THIS IS A FORUM this is not real life.. this is not the same thing as personal friends. NOW i know there are real friends made here.. and those are the ones that you can talk to about your issues but you will do that with IM, PM , or any other type of "personal" chat..
and the people that carry on about it all in open chat are just as much to blame.. OMFG people realise the difference between forum chat and real life.. there is really a difference..
this is not directed at any one person or situation.. its just my 2 cents after a very long time of seeing this type of thing go on here and seeing other common forums talk about these situations...

i dont like your post, i'm leaving.. but seriously..
there are some people on here who spend WAY TOO MUCH time on here.. they get attached to the placed.. and eventually feelings will be hurt, people will get pissed, and so forth & so on.. there's not much you can do about it.. unless you're a soulness person.. it's human nature..
i will point out someone who spends too much time on here.. that yoda star wars nerd.. he's constantly making stupid off-topic threads.. -

I mentioned why I was leaving, as I left, because I was hoping it would change things so that I wouldn't have to leave. It apparantly worked. Yes I am serious about this site.

Whoa! This thread! It's so - true!
Seriously, this is the first truly common-sense take on things that I've seen in a while. Kudos, guys. 8) -
The thread title is misleading. I was all ready to vent about my (very) elderly neighbors who call the cops on people who are not doing anything illegal ("The lights are on in their house at 3am! That's not decent!")

i was at first aginst the thread of closing OT but no i think its a good idea.. there are a lot of great people here and the ones that leave, leave for the wrong reasons.. and i bet if this OT forum wasnt here.. a good part of this wouldnt happen
P.S. ive been around here for a VERY long time.. and i even put my 2 cents in and helped people out.. BUT because of the OT forum things have changed it really does change this site..
this is the only forum that i have stayed a part of for this long.. and i hate that the "good " guys" end up leaving over other "regulars"
even though i know why it still seems silly -
should be
old timers (regulars) are too serious -
