This is probably a long shot but here goes.

I have a Pioneer DVR-108 with a beige bezel (faceplate).

I've just built a new system with a black case and wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to obtain a replacement black bezel.

If anyone knows a UK supplier that would be great.

    Thanks

If you have no luck locating one, one option is to remove it and paint it with some flat black spray paint. You need to mask the indicator lights with a small dot of tape and keep the coating thin, but I've used this method when all else fails. The type of paint used with toy plastic model kits works well, though it may wear off the buttons in time.

I had considered that as an option but wanted to see if I could get a replacement as this would make a better job and be less messy.

Was down at my local PC World store this morning and noticed that quite a few of the drives now come with a spare black bezel and this rekindled the idea.

Painting the faceplate? LOL dude don't bother! I've been there before with a Pioneer burner too coincidentally, and its just a great big pain in the ass.

Even with the fancy spraypaint i got that most use for that sort of thing, which actually seeps into the plastic permanetly staining it that color so it does not come off. Lots of issues still occur like mistakenly getting the wrong shade of black, runny stuff down the sides that got hardened up,oh and you can ONLY use the kind of paint a few times.Afterwards the stuff actually begins to break down the plastic turning it into brittle junk. So there is not much room for screwups and re-dos.

Learn from my mistakes.Simply "painting it black" may sound easy but its NOT,nor is it a good idea.Chris18 just save yourself a LOT of hassle by simply selling your current drive on e-bay and buying a black drive.

Heh this topic really takes me back to when i attempted the same crap for the same reasons.Oy what a dumb idea that was and waste of time!

I use a spray on paint called Krylon Fusion paints. It's available in a variety of colors and is specifically designed for quick drying plastic applications. I charge $10USD for bezel coats any color any case or component bezel. It works great for metal too and I charge slightly more for full case applications.
