    I tried everything to get a file with the extension .mp4 to play in Windows. I found out through here that Real Player might work, and it did! Thanks for dealing with a problem that has frustrated me for a month.

    Another good program is VLC Media Player. Plays most anything, is free, and comes with it's own codecs.

    BTW, The feedback forum is mostly for comments or problems with this site.
