    Hi,

    I would like to know the best way to copy a full dvd (any zone etc) to my HD so that I can read it from disk as a real DVD...

    Welcome to our corner of the world!

    You will need to get a copy of an application
    called Mac The Ripper, also known as MTR.
    It comes complete with a manual to help
    you learn how to complete rip your DVD
    to your HD, and then you can play it back
    as a "full dvd".
