Is there a layer break setting for iso write,or leave it at the default calculate optimal. This sounds like dvd decrypter changes the layer break to an optimal setting where it thinks it should be.
Record now deluxe works for me,but i'm willing to try dl writing with decrypter.

  4. Is there anything I need to be aware of, setting wise, or will Decrypter burn a perfect copy of a DVD?

Poolman (and the others) are quite correct, I would only add this...

Settings: Use the default settings. Re-set to this, if necessary. The only exception is you can booktype a DVD+R dual layer to a DVD-Rom, if you like, and if your burner supports this. And, no, if you use these, DVDDecrypter will not make any changes to the location of the layer break.

Use only the latest version of DVDDdecrypter.

Do not try to run AnyDVD or DVD43 in the background.

To be safe, use only Verbatim DVD+R dual layer blank media.

To be safe, resist the temptation to burn fast. Keep it at 2.4x.

    That's it.

  8. Now I know this isnt the proper section, but I have been using Memorex DVD-R's and havent had any problems with my Sony DW-Q28A. Does memorex make a dual layer and is it good if they do? Is Verbatim the best? Is my drive a decent drive? Sorry for all the questions, you guys just got me going a little.

    THANKS

I would reccomend using ImgBurn to do the actual burn, use DVDDecrypter to rip. ImgBurn is DVDDecrypters burn engine updated.
