No sound from capture after using WINDV

I am using Windv to output camera content thru Firewire from a camcorder to my PC. This is the 5 different tape I have done in the last week and for some reason it captures video but the sound is not coming through to the final AVI. I can hear the sound coming out the camera OK.

Probably your playing application needs the opposite type.

If using Type 1, try Type 2 or visa versa.

My apps mostly like Type 2 but some want Type 1.

OK but...I even tried Ulead DVD movie factory for the capture I got the same result... - no sound

I have tried to play it in Windows media play and the older version also with the same result. I even tried to play it in Nero's play - still no sound...
