5 pack or 10 pack of Ritek DVD+R 16x online?

Does anyone know where to buy a 5 pack or 10 pack of Ritek DVD+R 16x online? I have an LG GWA 4162b burner.

It will burn Prodisc DVD+R 16x at 16x or sometimes 12x but I haven't been able to find Ritek DVD+R in a small pack to try. Just from the way the die looks on the Prodisc it seems like the Ritek has a bit better quality control on the spindle packs.

Has anyone burned Ritek DVD+R at 16x on an HP 640b drive?
(which is an LG GWA 4162b burner.) I see one comment for
the drive that the Ritek will not burn at 16x but the poster doesn't
say what speed he got. 12x is just about as good. I'm reluctant
to buy 16x if it will only burn at 8x since I have Ritek DVD-R for
8x burns already.

Also I assume there's no way to read the firmware of the drive for the write strategy for each manufacturer(or else utilities would be doing it already) if you don't have the particular disc to insert?

Even if you can find a 5 or 10 pack I doubt that you'd save enough to make it worthwhile.
