Hi,
I captured the movies from VHS to MPG2 by a card but
the audio is too noisy. I use TDA, and burn it to
DVD. Video is ok, but audio is so bad. It took me
over one hour to capture it.
Is there anyway to fix the audio without recaptured
another video? Pls. help.
Thanks.
DD

Depends on the kind and amount of noise. You should be able to extract the audio out of the MPEG-2 files or the VOBs with a freeware program like Audacity and run some filters on it, then re-encode it to AC3 with ffmpeggui and mux it back in with TDA. I use 'Project', 'Import Audio' with Audacity and it seems to read the audio from the VOBs. May depend on your audio format, though. Give it a try.
Audio filters always take something away. Hopefully just noise and not the quality.
