    The Video Controls brightness, contrast, etc will not work on any version of Windows Media Player. I have version 10 on another computer and all works just fine. I am using winxp. How can I get these controls to work?

    The easiest fix for oddball windows issues like these is usually to reinstall the OS. I've never been able to correct random other WMP issues, until the OS was reinstalled...then all was good again.
