Dvd shrink bombing out(Computer says physical dump and crash

O.k My computer has always had problems with dvd shrink where halfway through shrinking it bombs out and I get a generic blue screen and it says physical dump,Now this is discussed in different websites as the blue screen of death.Now after this I stoped using shrink on my computer I started using it on my brothers computer with luck of shrinking,Until tonight where the same blue screen appeared and the computer is now having problems,The weird thing is I tried to copy a rented dvd of the longest yard movie and I used dvd dycrypter for copywrite issues 1st and noticed strange things allready where I got I message asking what region
2 or pal,Which I never got before.And when I started to copy the disc the decrypter vanished and had to start over.This disc was unusual to begin with.But what is up with this problem occuring with shrink??
Anyone know.And I am only copying for private use only.

pleease reread our rules about copying rented dvds.
and please post backuping in the dvd to dvdr forum in the future.
