  1. ive created a 22 min doc on my great grandma and i havce spent the last 5 hours trying to export it properly. My goal is to burn it eventually on a dvd.
Anyway, when I export it as microsoft dv avi, it works mostly well, except it will resize it self throughout the movie. this seems to happen especially with text (almost entirely text, white text on a black background, like a title),
it will go from 720*480 to much smaller),
if i turn on interlace, as an export option, the text appears correctly and their is not resizing, but there is a border around the whole movie, so it is much smaller,
    im using premiere pro,
    any ideas,
    thank you videohelp community,

What was your footage captured with?
    What are your project settings?
What are you importing your text from?
Perhaps the "resize to project settings" for your still options is checked on, withing your preferences??

If the tape is DV format, use DV format project settings. Everything including encoder settings should be set to interlace "bottom field first".

If you want to save in DV format use Export timeline - Movie - and set for DV-AVI

If you want to export to DVD MPeg2, then use export timeline Adobe MPeg Encoder and select DVD defaults. For better quality, edit default settings to CBR 8000 Kb/s. This is recommended for hand held video material.
