Copya pic to your machine then open it. Is it TINY for you? I've run into this before but just don't understand what problem OSX has with some rare graphics.

Directly opening from a copy to desktop looks ok

show actual size.... and its tiny...

Yup, I thought so. "Avatar" is at 266dpi, so its true
size is a 0.301-inch square.
In Graphic Converter, I changed the resolution to 72dpi,
keeping proportions, but NOT scaling the image, and it
came out to a 1.11=inch square. -
The picture is 80x80 pixels, but the resolution in the JPEG header is 266 DPI.

Guess I gotta go find my GC disk. I THINK It came with my G5.
DAMN I KNOW it was on my G5 when I got it, but post format its not here. WTF its not on any disk I was given. -
