  1. Hiya guys, could somebody help me out with the media code of these discs I was thinking of buying?

    http://www.aprmedia.com/product.php?pid=2104

I'm currently using the datawrite titanium full face printable discs, and have suffered no problems, but was wondering if anybody would reccomend the verbatim discs over the titanium discs? The titanium discs media code is MCC 03

    According to the media list:

    https://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?dvdmediasearch=verbatim&dvdmediadvdridsearch=&ty...+or+List+Media

These discs are MCC 03RG20. I just ordered 8x +R MCC discs but I have no experience with these particular Verbatims. Last time I used MCC -R media was with 4x Prodiscs.

  3. Is it worth changing from the datawrite titanium to these verbatim do you reckon? They both have the same media code....

MCC03RG20 is easily one of the best media available right now. Super clean burns and tends to pass every single pass with flying colors (even the anal retentive "scanning" folks).

MCC03RG20 is mediocre at 16x in my experience, (tested using PX-716A/UF, DVR-A09 and GSA-4163B) as far as PI/PIF scans go. However, they're usually within spec and playback fine, if they're video that is. 8x is better (and I'm generally against underspeeding media!).
