  1. Hi i have 2 home movie files which iv converted from avi to dvd I would like to fit them both on 1 dvd but i also need menus.

They are 2054meg each file and they should both fit on a dvd but the problem is the menu.Iv used TMPGenc to make menus but i can only make 1 menu for each movie with it and when you play the menus they wont load when the dvds inserted instead you have to press the menu button on the dvd remote and then they seems to show up backwards Ie the chapter menu first and the Main menu last.

Is there any other easy way for me to make menus and to have 2 movies on 1 dvdr with menus.= that work properly.
movies do we watch them or do they watch us?

  2. DVDStyler works well for me when putting multiple video's on one DVD with a single menu. Since both of your videos are more that 2 Gb each, you'll probably have to shrink them (I use ReJig - It also works well for me) You can find guides to both these utilities on this website in the 'guides' section.

Sounds like you didn't set the menu display settings first, click on this and change it to 'Only Main Menu' and it will show just teh main menu without any chapter selection menu

The main menu should appear when teh DVD is first instered instead of the chapter menu

Also change the firsplay action to 'Main Menu Only' will guanantee that you will not see the chapter selection menu when the DVD is first inserted

This is what I use when created episode DVD's .... I also made this mistake when first getting the hang of TMPGenc DVD Author, its very easy to miss

The next release has a very useful simulate function where you can see exactly what will happen when the DVD is played in a DVD player to avoid this very simple mistake of forgetting to set the menu play options

Well worth downloading the trial and having a look, and quite probably worth the upgrade fee, its eeven easier to use and now included decent editing solutions and very simple user menu creation with semi-intelligent automatic menu creation depending on how many tracks you have created

It would be even better if they included subtitle support very soon !!!!!
