Is there a way to copy streaming video and then copy it on to DVD?

After years of trying this (on big files) , I read the answer to your (and mine) problem on another Topic (about converting Realvideo files) , I just put my TV-Out cable straight in to my DVD Recorder , if you havent got one then its not the answer for you , but if others have this problem and have a DVD Recorder then it might help .
For the record I am very pleased with the results from this method . The convertors gave me sync problems (for various reasons I was aware of but bloody hell its a pain in the butt sorting it out, DVDR in - no problems any more) .
So a big thank you to the original poster of this method of conversion , you made a happy man
