I was wondering is there a database for commercials similar to www.imdb.com for movies?

Occoasionally I'll see a commercial and want to know what music is used or something to that effect. Is there a listing on the web??

  2. They are not quite like imdb, but there are several out there:

    http://www.sourcetv.com/
    http://www.clipland.com/index_tvc.shtml
    http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Commercials/

Here's one specifically for music used in TV commercials:
    http://www.whatsthatcalled.com/

For more try Googling on "tv commercial database"
