    Hello

I'm planning on making a big order from SVP (www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/) as soon as I've decided which media to go for. I will buy for £300 so it will be some and would like that they work then also

My first problem is that most seems to be shit (cmc) and from what I have been reading here more and more brands sometimes use cmc. I'm looking for either dvd-r or +r that can be burned in 8x.

I have been looking at the

    {DV 3244} Bulkpaq (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 50
    ADVINFO: MCC 02RG20
Special Promotional Price: £6.49 / Euro 9.58 inc VAT.

Which is a very good price and quite the only with MCC. Now to my second problem. When I search for them here there are two different once. Some orange once that I hade before which have worked perfect and now these. It also seems like these once got worse quality.

What do you think? They actually are completly worthless and I should buy something else? Then what?

    Also looked a bit at
{DV 3209} Datawrite Ritek 'Optima Blue' (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 50
    ADVDINFO: .RITEKG..05.
SVP Price: £10.99 / Euro 16.23 inc VAT.

Bulkpaq is using fake crap from E-net. That is not real MCC.
Bulkpaq is not a trusted brand. They only use budget IDs and fakes.

I've always bought from SVP and have no problems with them at all.

I would suggest a batch of 8X Taiyo Yudens (which is what I bought from SVP), no coasters or problems yet.

stunning deal must be some of the cheapest TYG02 disks in the uk and verbatim is a bonus

wish id hung on a month
i bought 4 packs of the TTG02 TDK disks
am just about to start using them now as i have just finished the disks i previously had open

    {DV 3264} TDK Branded (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 25 {DV 3264} TDK Branded (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 25
    ADVINFO: TTG02 / Ritek G05

i hope they arent the ritek G05 (that definitely wasnt there when i ordered)

SVP annoys me when they have 2 different media codes next to a disk they should sell them as 2 seperate products rather than force people to gamble and maybe not end up with the media code they want

I joined Buyers Club yesterday and have not got that code, you don't think that you either could post it here, send a pm or a mail with it. 5% is quite much money

The code is healy, as in Northern Irish footballer David Healy who scored against England on wednesday.

If you can prove that claim about fake codes you should tell SVP - they make a point of not selling rip off media.

It's fairly common knowledge, they should already know it.

MCC fakes started appearing a couple months back. Bulkpaq MCC02RG20 is manufactured by Infosmart. Shitty Hong Kong media. Same bastards that fake TYG02 media (as well as others in the past). I don't know if MAM-A/MAM-E is doing it yet, the MCC, but they are already swiping TYG02 ones.

TTG02 is being faked right now too. MAM-A and MAM-E are the ones doing it, admittedly, although it may be "licensed" fakes (meaning TDK sold them a license to use the code on their crap media). Others are likely following suit, though unofficially. This is not the first time TDK has been faked, Princo used to do it.

All BULKPAQ that I've ever seen was "ISO" or fakes.
    Never seen non-Infosmart media.

    {DV 3244} Bulkpaq (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 50

Bulkpaq discs are generally not as reliable as higher-priced discs such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden but are always tempting due to their low price.

    ADVDINFO: MCC 02RG20 / TTG02

Special Promotional Price: £6.49 / Euro 9.65 inc VAT.
Equivalent Retail Price Per Disc: 13.0p

TTG02 is being faked too, albeit licensed in some cases. But allowed to use the code or not, it's still low quality crap, the fakes that is.

The legit TDK-manufactured TTG02 media is generally decent media. Although some of the TDK sold at Circuit City (and not others? go figure) has been crap for a lot of people, myself included.

BULKCRAP is a well earned nickname.
