I make svcds from dvds using dvd2avi Force Film to tmpenc. On the first video setting tab I choose 3:2 pulldown when playback. Do I have to do this? The svcd plays fine with no problems at all. Thanks![]()

In order to be compliant yes you must enable the 3:2 pulldown. Some dvd players auto telecine any material stored in 23.976fps (ntscfilm.) This is apparantly the case with your dvd player, however, not all players will do this. If you buy a new dvd player down the line there is a good chance that your svcds wont play correctly if you didnt include the 3:2 pulldown.
