I am with Pipex, 1Mb/s Unlimited connection. Service is good so far (been with them for 2 months). they have a offer at the moment, £14.99 for first 3 months, then £23 thereafter.
I was with Tiscali and had problems with them, also on 1Mb/s Unlimited. It seems their unlimited definition means 30GB per month. They capped my connection so i cancelled.
If you want to share files, you may want to consider FTP. -
We've had e letter from BT today saying ive gone way over the limit and are making up new terms and conditions.
The worry is, will they fine us and charge us loads???
Or will they just cap my connection too?
U got any ideas??
Could you also give me a few details on an FTP server and how to use it.
Would i need the FTP would the person i need to send the file to need FTP?
What FTP? Cute FTP?
How do i set it all up to connect to him?
etc etc lol im all new to this..
