Hi all,
This is a little off topic but I'm hoping you can help. My wife is a professional photographer and shoots a lot of weddings. She has started using Photoshop Elements 3 for a lot of her editing and has discovered that a great way to initially show her customers their photos is via a slideshow that PS Elements can create. There are several small issues with this program that she doesn't like and is wondering if there are any recommendations for programs that will create a slideshow that is saveable in .Wma format.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

Slide Show Movie Maker is free, it only outputs in .avi format with a 2GB file size output limit.
I personally like Ulead Movie Factory 2 's slideshow maker the best. You can pick up MF2 for about $5 on Ebay....it can't output to Windows Media either.
I think you should NOT use outputting to Windows Media a criteria for picking a slideshow program...you may be very disappointed. -
For a free basic slideshow generator that outputs to WMV, how about Microsoft's Photo Story 3?

Why not just use Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows XP. If you don't already have it download from www.microsoft.com the version 2, I beleieve version 1 came with windows, not real sure. It does simple slide shows to WMV format. Or DVD Santa can do a slide show with transitions but to DVD format so a second step would be needed IE Windows movie maker where you could also add narration or a music track.
Trial version of DVD Santa to test but it will watermark the output, but good enough to see the features.

Hi algae,
There's also MemoriesOnTV and Photodex Proshow (and a "Gold" version too, I believe).
I'm not sure whether they output to WMA, but they do output to VCD - this may be useful as a "burn to CD" for demo purposes. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
