Has anyone tried the media being offered by a company called Disc Makers? They offer a premium and ultra version of printable DVD-R and +R media in bulk and claim this to be professional grade A media. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience. Thanx.

i can take a dump in a bag and label it grade a whatever
a lot of people and companies claim to have grade a but dont, if u want to try new media get a few singles or 25 pack and find out what media code they are and see how well they burn, if u like them then go for it -
I took a look at the disc makers site and I don't think it's a good idea. They only describe their media as "disc makers" instead of a manufacturer or media code. If you are still interested in this company instead of just shopping at RIMA.com or Newegg, you should email them and ask them more details about their media.

If I'm not mistaken, Plextor was once running a promo bundled with the PX-716A for free Disc Makers media. Those who responded reported that the media was by Taiyo Yuden.

I can affirm that my 10 free disks were TY's.
As I recollect , there was a choice as to the media.
