What do I mean I had tried to put a old 1980 VHS tape on DVD. Using my old VCRs it always displayed in B & W. Nice sharp picture but B&W.
Now that I have the JVC I got around to trying it and voila, Color not B&W. Since I don't expect to ever see this on DVD I was happy it worked.
On another VHS Tape, same era 1979 or 1980 Color but the tape had a bit of a interference pattern on it. In Edit mode this was evident, switching to sharp cleared up most of the interference, I believe that turns on the DNR & built in TBC?, Now you would have to know it was there and really be looking for it.
I have to say that the more I use the JVC the more I like it for tape to DVD.
I reccomend it to anybody needing a S-VHS VCR for tape captures.
Good Luck
Cheers
Roger
