    I need help authoring DVD's

Well I'm unlike most of you, I CAN'T start from scratch. So I picked up NeroVision Express. It's good enough for my basic needs and very easy to add videos and chapters. But sometimes I want to tweak the finished menu but can't. I was looking for a software that would start with wizards then allow you to edit things on the DVD easily too...

Is it ti good to ask? that's why I came to you pros..

    Thanks

If you're willing to invest a little time getting to know your project creation specs, I'd recommend TmpGenc DVD Author. I use it as my DVD Authoring software of choice for simple - intermediate projects.

For more complete control and complex projects, I use DVD Lab Pro.

If you start with TDA, you can't go wrong, IMHO.

    Good luck!

    Cheers!

I would recommend TDA also for a good entry level authoring program. It has a trial version, so you can try it out first.

    Hmmm....

Okay I gave the TMPeg thing a try but Nero still reaches a menu faster than this one does, and the TMPeg menu is somehow weird....

My real issue is, for me and some people not creative enough, Nero Vision Express, added any avi file with drag and drop, created chapters, went to a final menu with clicks of a button (literally, should try it to see...)
the problem is sometimes I want to add some things to it, or move the labels somewhere, or not have buttons for an intro message, that's why it does a normal job, but I would like to be able to add or move some things there....

Hope I'm not asking for the world...

WHen you are ready to create the menu just click on Edit Menu and ignore the warning. It will take you to a secondary menu editor where you are ajust and change your menu around pretty much to your heart's content. However, you are stuck with the buttons and frames they provide. You can also change your back ground image at will.

There is new version of TDA but is is not available in English yet. It should proove very nice.

No, just using the wrong tool. NVE is for people who can't be bothered with anything beyond clicking the "Next" button. To that end, a lot has to be sacrified. You're asking for things not catered for in NVE. TDA is as close to pointandclick as it gets, but at the same time manages to squeeze in some customization. Try it. For a full featured ayhoring app, try DVD Lab Pro.

    Is it the correct one?
It says Tmpeg DVD Author Easy Edition, is that the one? I don't get the second "Edit" menu someone mentioned earlier
